Tip #1 - Entering in someone's office
- Me: "Hi, I'm here to perform a Wi-Fi analysis. Is it ok with you if I come in your office for a few seconds?"
- Office Occupant: "No problem, come on in!"
And then I step in and do my work. Sometimes the conversation continues with the occupant, sometimes it doesn't!
But now, here is a joke I hear a lot as a reply to my initial question:
- Me: "Hi, I'm here to perform a Wi-Fi analysis. Is it ok with you if I come in your office for a few seconds?"
- Office Occupant: "No problem, come on in! It will be $5"
I was usually replying with a laugh and entering the office anyway to do my job. But lately I have found a new way to answer this joke in order to bring a little bit more fun to the task ;)! This is how it goes:
- Me: "Hi, I'm here to perform a Wi-Fi analysis. Is it ok with you if I come in your office for a few seconds?"
- Office Occupant: "No problem, come in! It will be $5"
- Me: "Do you want good Wi-Fi in your office?"
- Office Occupant: 'Sure I do"
- Me: "Well, in this case I'll take the $5 :)"
And now I'm collecting ;)
Enjoy your surveys guys (the "guys" includes girls, obviously!)
And look out for Tip #2.
Cheers'
